Learn more about PIERRE!

PIERRE is an smart system that allows you to manage your house or apartment from your mobile phone or tablet.

The user no longer has to take out the keys to open the door, or get up from the armchair to open the gate... Everything can be done by touch.

It's also great that the app is easy to use and allows the user to quickly find and set up the functions they need.

PIERRE is a solution whose hardware and software have been developed independently by Studio Present. It employs over 40 people in two locations (Subotica and Karlsruhe) who believe that PIERRE is the smart home system of the future!

What was the starting point?

First we just listened, then we talked, then we listened again... and then we came up with a general concept. Then we started developing the hardware. First we had to create the 'brain' of the system, the smart home controller.

This smart controller is responsible for all the logic underneath the system. It was a real innovation and stood out from the competition. We decided to use the ESP32 microcontroller as the heart of the smart home. Then we selected all the components and started building the prototype.

After several iterations, we had the first version of the controller. At this point we started to write the firmware.

The PIERRE app goes beyond expectations

In addition to its sophisticated design, the PIERRE app serves as a control centre for all functions and offers a very pleasant user experience. It is fully integrated with Apple iOS and Google Assistant. Feedback from our customers shows that the PIERRE app is the most beautiful and best smart home application they have come across.

The app is designed with the user in mind. It is easy to use, extremely quick to adjust settings and optimised for both phones and tablets.

The system is easy to customise. In just a few moments, users can set their own images, tailor functions to their needs and habits, and ensure that frequently used features are highlighted.
