A warm welcome to my new co-worker :)

This is Karlo

Karlo joined us three years ago as a QA tester, quickly proving his mettle and ascending to the role of project manager. His journey reflects our commitment to personal and professional growth, and now, we're searching for someone eager to follow in his footsteps.

For us, quality is the bedrock of our operations. It drives us to continually enhance our services. The role we're looking to fill is pivotal; you'll be ensuring that, in the final stretch before delivery, our projects embody the excellence we stand for. You're not just checking boxes; you're upholding our promise to clients, guided by best practices and a keen attention to detail.

Get ready to dive into Karlo's experience, learning about the intricacies of this role, the expertise it demands, and how you can become an integral part of our team.

Future colleague, I will try to tell you what it is like to be part of the Studio Present team, but also what your future responsibilities will be. Read to the end and be sure to apply.

What is it like to be a QA tester at Studio Present?

  • Always different projects
  • A new and different challenge every day
  • Thinking like an end user is essential
  • Trying all possible scenarios
  • Lots of contact with almost all developers

These are the skills that are important to me:

  • Although we're on the hunt for a manual tester, stepping into the sphere of automated testing will definitely score you some extra points with us
  • "Good eye for detail (to compare design and finished product)
  • Knowledge of website principles (Drupal)
  • Good time management
  • Accuracy and precision
  • Being able to describe the problem well
  • Good communication skills with colleagues
  • Openness to different projects

Being a QA tester doesn't mean looking for bugs in someone else's work, it means trying to make sure that the client gets a final 'product' that you and all your colleagues at Studio Present can be proud of.

This is Karlo's view of his work :)

Here's a look into my daily routine as a QA tester, outlined in a few key bullet points:

  • Morning routine: Starts with an obligatory morning tea and then I dive into reviewing the day's tasks, always appreciating the new variety each day unfolds.
  • Daily project workflow: I start my day working on a commerce site for organic products, then move on to a presentation site for a company specializing in special tools before breakfast. Around noon, I shift my focus to web applications for competition applications, and I end the day by testing additional features for various projects.
  • Project variety: I tackle a range of projects, each with its own unique colors, designs, and functionalities.
  • Team dynamics: I work alongside a variety of colleagues, each of us contributing to a vibrant and dynamic team atmosphere.
  • Core tasks: I'm all about uncovering hidden bugs, a skill not everyone has.
  • Workflow: At Studio Present, we stick to a roadmap, checking our work at key development phases.
  • Bug hunting: Finding a bug? That’s my kind of victory.
  • Communication: Talking things through with the team is key, especially with bug fixes. It’s all about being clear and on point.
  • Tools of the trade: A screenshot can say it all, making it my go-to tool.

It all seems like fun, but there is also a lot of responsibility towards the client and colleagues. Of course, after a successful project, my work is not done yet, we have a lot of clients who want us to maintain their site, which means that we periodically review, tweak or possibly add some new features.

In addition, we can guarantee you:
  • Competitive salary
  • Private pension insurance
  • 20 days of annual leave and additional days off
  • Work from home
  • Flexible working hours
And all this in a very pleasant working environment

You will spend your working time in modern and smart offices, with modern equipment and a beautiful garden. The office space is called Digital Hive and is located in Subotica.

At Studio Present, you will not only enjoy working and collaborating with great colleagues. You will also enjoy the modern business space, with offices decorated with natural plants, and the courtyard with a beautiful lake to enjoy over breakfast or during your break.

Here you can see what our office looks like.

Team-building events will be a regular part of your experience here...

…because you will always be at some gatherings with other colleagues - whether it's a barbecue at Andor’s place, team building in the country or abroad, drinking beer or wine at the office bar every Friday at half past 3 or something else.

Also, as long as you are a member of the SP team, the thought "I have to spend a few thousand again for a medical examination" will not cross your mind, because you will have private health insurance.

And last but not least…
  • You will have the opportunity to improve professionally at the company's expense.
  • You will be able to attend English classes every Wednesday.
  • You will be able to use the company's wellness center and gym.
  • Choose your own equipment (laptop, monitor...).
  • And to wind down on Fridays before the end of work, you can enjoy a drink with colleagues at the bar or in our wine cellar.

Karlo invites you to become his new colleague. Fill in the form and we'll contact you soon to find out more about you and get to know each other.
